On today’s Your Call, it’s our Friday media roundtable. This week, we’ll have a conversation about media coverage of the Republican National Convention. 15,000 journalists are in Tampa, Florida covering the convention. Who’s going beyond the scripted speeches? We’ll also talk about the raging conflict in Syria. We’ll be joined by Columbia Journalism Review’s Justin Peters, Florida Center for Investigative Reporting’s Trevor Aaronson, and the Guardian’s Luke Harding. Where did you see the best reporting this week? Join us at 10 or email feedback@yourcallradio.org. It’s Your Call, with Rose Aguilar and you

Guests:

Justin Peters, the editor-at-large for the Columbia Journalism Review. He has written for numerous publications including Slate, The Washington Monthly and The New York Times.
